- End of the canon Warriors timeline; however, in TWF's timeline, the forest was never destroyed and the Clans never migrated to the lake. Instead, northward expansion of the city and suburbs took place, and unbeknownst to the Clans, the area south and southwest of the city (encompassing their territory and beyond) was designated a wildlife and wetlands preserve after a group of conservationists protested proposed development.

≈ DECEMBER 31st 2011
- A tense Gathering (Event 2.0 Whispers of Unrest) is interrupted by BloodClan, who demand herbs, which they receive. Shortly afterward, a sickness ravages the Clans, killing Banefrost, the WindClan deputy, and taking multiple lives from Flickerstar/RC and Galestar/WC.
≈ FEBRUARY 2011
- In a tragic turn of events, Flickerstar and Galestar have their final lives taken after being crushed by a falling tree during a WindClan/RiverClan meeting. Anger and dissent among the forest Clans grows. Negative feeling is directed especially towards BloodClan, who are believed to have brought this misfortune. Amberstar of RiverClan and Smallstar of WindClan are appointed.
≈ MAY 2011
- Thousand leaves BloodClan, leaving the medicine cat position open.
≈ AUGUST 2011
- Smallstar is killed by a fox and is replaced by her deputy, Sparrowstar, who is in turn replaced by Ridgefall as the new deputy. Mistsoul disappears from RiverClan after announcing a prophetic dream. Tinsel becomes the medicine cat of BloodClan, Primrose the medicine cat of RiverClan, and Mottledcloud the medicine cat of WindClan after Dawnsong's death.
≈ EARLY SEPTEMBER 2011
- Nightmares and paranoia begin to plague RiverClan, and the Clan turns both against itself and against ThunderClan, rogues, and to a lesser extent, WindClan. Because the nightmares often mimic, or even foreshadow, reality, the effectiveness of StarClan is called into question. (Event 3.1 A Hotbed of Discontent)
≈ EARLY OCTOBER 2011
- A RiverClan apprentice nearly falls into the gorge and dies. RiverClan blames ThunderClan. Further conflicts arise between the two Clans during a border patrol. (Event 3.2 Falling into Dreams & 3.3 Nightmare Words and Claws)
≈ LATE OCTOBER 2011
- After Mistsoul's dream, deputies Cottonwhisker of RiverClan and Scorpiontail of ShadowClan leave together on a joint mission to investigate something beyond the territories. Nobody except the leaders and StarClan know precisely what the task is, but from the grim looks shared between leaders, it is dangerous... and the fact that Cottonwhisker and Scorpiontail don’t return says even more.
≈ NOVEMBER 2011
- BloodClan begins to notice machines lurking around their camp, but nobody is quite sure why they're there. Some cats have speculations, but the coming winter is more of an issue, and resources are devoted towards preparations in order to outlast the harsh season.
≈ DECEMBER 17th 2011
- The machines by BloodClan finally move, destroying the camp and forcing the cats to relocate to an abandoned warehouse deep in Industrial Way, which they adopt as their new camp. The move leaves BloodClan shaken, their influence and hold in the city nebulous, and their future uncertain. (Event 4.1 And When It Falls Apart & 4.2 Neophobia)
≈ LATE DECEMBER 2011
- Icepath of ShadowClan and Heathercloud of RiverClan are appointed to replace Cottonwhisker and Scorpiontail as deputies.
≈ DECEMBER 25th 2011
- An intense on-and-off blizzard starts, leaving the forest and the city under piles of snow and the threat of high winds and freezing temperatures. A truck crashes, allowing the small pack of wolves it was re-locating as part of a preservation effort to escape. The pack takes up occupancy in the Shadowed Caves at ShadowClan's border. Much to the detriment of the Clans, neither wolves nor blizzard seem to plan on leaving anytime soon. (Event 5.0 Can't See the Wolves for the Blizzard)
≈ DECEMBER 31st 2011
- Silverstar leaves ThunderClan on an unknown mission, passing command of the Clan on to his deputy Freestone. The whole forest is shocked and mourns his going; he is the oldest leader, and an anchor for the Clans. He was seen agitated after Cottonwhisker and Scorpiontail's disappearances; perhaps his mission is related to theirs, but nobody knows. Freestone becomes Freestar and begins to look for a deputy, which he finds in the reliable Cedarblaze.

≈ SEPTEMBER 2012
≈ MID-NOVEMBER 2012
≈ NOVEMBER 30th 2012
≈ LATE DECEMBER 2012
- The blizzard has effectively forced BloodClan to remain confined to their new camp and immediate areas, especially as they fight to stay alive given that their stockpiled resources have been destroyed. In their absence, the rogue cats brave enough to venture out begin to test the borders of the Clan. Finding them undefended, rumors of a plan to wipe out BloodClan for good begin to whisper through the late-night grapevine, picked up and passed along like wildfire.
≈ JANUARY 31st 2012
- The blizzard ends. Though it takes some time, conditions slowly begin to improve.
≈ FEBRUARY 2012
- The four forest Clans have a Gathering, only to have it dissolve into chaos and war. Brindleshine of ThunderClan is killed, ushering in the beginning of a year that promises to be far less peaceful than the past couple of seasons. (Event 6.0 These Stars in the Sky)
≈ MARCH 1st 2012
- The wolves have finally moved on, but not without taking a price. The final death count, though less than it could have been, is still chilling: three WindClan warriors and one apprentice. Two RiverClan warriors and one apprentice. One ShadowClan warrior. Two ThunderClan warriors.
≈ EARLY MAY 2012
- Ivoryleaf and Wildfire become WindClan deputy and medicine cat respectively, replacing Ridgefall (who chose to become a loner) and Mottledcloud (who was forced to retire early due to a disease).
≈ LATE MAY 2012
- ShadowClan begins to fall victim to the deadly feline panleukopenia virus. Though the outbreak is not yet severe, the situation seems grim, and the truth of Cottonwhisker and Scorpiontail's disappearance, as well as Mistsoul's prophetic warning, begins to see the light. (Event 7.1 Call Me a Doctor)
≈ JUNE 14th 2012
- After being setback first by the blizzard and then by their own inability to organize and plan efficiently, the rogues are finally taking action against a still shaky BloodClan. Motivated by their hatred of BloodClan and their resentment at the amount of territory and prey the Clan keeps for itself, they announce their arrival by killing the warrior Vivian and using her dying words to impart a message of war. The battle that ensues claims the lives of 26 BloodClanners and 27 rogues. Though BloodClan wins, their numbers are effectively halved, and – supposedly - include Piper and Moss in the ranks of the dead. (Event 4.3 No Dawn in Sunsets)
≈ LATE JUNE 2012
- The nightmares and paranoia plaguing RiverClan have not abated, and the disproportionate amount of features by ThunderClan cats in said nightmares leads the Clan to believe their neighbor is somehow involved in the siege, if not directly responsible. Primrose of RiverClan receives a prophecy that seems to infer the answer to RiverClan's troubles lies over the mountains, by the ocean; against Heathercloud and Primrose's wishes, Amberstar leaves on a solo mission to seek the place Primrose saw in her dream.
≈ LATE JULY 2012
- Deer meat is given to RiverClan by ThunderClan as a peace offering, the border battle and memory of the Gathering not quite healed. The situation implodes when the cats who ate the deer become terribly sick, with some cats' symptoms going beyond that of just ordinary food poisoning and beginning to show the early stages of the virus. Primrose, after working night and day for a week to (successfully) cure her Clan, contracts the panleukopenia virus herself and dies two days later. In the chaos that follows, Heathercloud has no choice but to ascend to the leadership position, choosing Cloudfang as her deputy. Lunarpaw, young and half-trained, takes Primrose's place. As the dust begins to settle, the anger begins to grow, and ThunderClan is blamed for what has befallen the Clan.
≈ AUGUST 7th 2012
- After the virus appeared in RiverClan, the other three Clans arrange a meeting with ShadowClan to inform them that ShadowClan's territory and camp are under quarantine, in hopes to prevent the virus from spreading. ShadowClan is not happy, but they are unable to resist, and their territory is forcibly reduced by two-thirds, with severe penalties for all who disregard the quarantine perimeter. (Event 7.2 Fair-weather Friends)
≈ SEPTEMBER 2012
- After the deer meat incident, and as the nightmares show no sign of ceasing, Heatherstar reveals the ocean prophecy made by Primrose to the entire Clan. Desperate, RiverClan assembles a patrol to travel to the ocean. As insurance against further 'attacks' by ThunderClan, they also kidnap two ThunderClan members, Silverleaf and Cranepaw. (Event 8.1 Desparation Does Not Smile)
≈ MID-NOVEMBER 2012
- Wildfire, medicine cat of WindClan, goes to help ShadowClan with their on-going disease, but ends up contracting it herself. She leaves the Clans in the hopes of recovering. Poisonedthorn replaces her as medicine cat.
≈ NOVEMBER 30th 2012
- Freestar departs ThunderClan in the hopes of finding Silverstar. Cedarblaze takes over as leader of the Clan, and Rainbird is announced as the new deputy.
≈ LATE DECEMBER 2012
- New ShadowClan borders are placed completely in effect after a transition period where the territory gradually shrinks. Quarantine is now unquestionable.

≈ LATE APRIL 2013
≈ LATE SEPTEMBER 2013
≈ OCTOBER 2013
- Axel appears in BloodClan, declaring himself Piper's brother and hinting heavily that he is the new leader of the Clan. BloodClan, which has spent the last half-year re-building after the fight with the rogues in June, is thrown back into chaos and confusion. Axel, however, does not declare himself official leader yet; there is an uneasy question mark surrounding him and current deputy Dread.
≈ MID JANUARY 2013
- After extensive preparation and training, the RiverClan patrol of four warriors and their two ThunderClan prisoners depart RiverClan for the ocean.
≈ LATE JANUARY 2013
- Another Gathering is held. Inter-Clan tensions are still high, but in the wake of the virus and the darker mood that has fallen over the forest, all Clans are anxious to keep the peace. It is somewhat of a relief when BloodClan gatecrash the gathering, offering the forest a common enemy to unite against. Axel of BloodClan uses rogue prisoner 4GOOD to demonstrate why, exactly, BloodClan should still be feared. (Event 11.0 Press Play to Continue)
≈ EARLY FEBRUARY 2013
- Axel establishes the new BloodClan territory boundaries and declares himself official leader.
≈ MARCH 1st and 2nd 2013
- A devastating fire consumes most of WindClan territory, forcing the WindClan cats into the underground tunnels until the moors recover. The Clan, faced with the realities of a destroyed territory and life-threatening shortage of prey, are forced to reassess what it will take to survive. (Event 9.1 Paint the Moon With Smoke & 9.2 The Earth Burned Clean)
≈ MARCH 3rd 2013
- A small ShadowClan patrol, fueled by humiliation, hopelessness, and anger, attacks the ThunderClan camp to try and prove their strength even in the face of the virus - but fail miserably, although most of the dens are destroyed in the process. (Event 7.3 You Just Laughed at Us)
≈ MID-MARCH 2013
- Repairs to the ThunderClan camp after the ShadowClan patrol attacked are finally completed without incident.
≈ LATE APRIL 2013
- Sleetstorm replaces Cloudfang as RiverClan deputy after the latter, having caught the ShadowClan virus post-Primrose's death, leaves the Clan like others before him to minimize and hopefully prevent the risk of it spreading. The virus does not spread, but Cloudfang's fate remains unknown.
≈ LATE SEPTEMBER 2013
- Roanfur of ThunderClan chooses to retire, pursuing a mixed life of nomad and Clan cat. Smokedancer takes his place as the Clan medicine cat.
≈ OCTOBER 2013
- The RiverClan patrol is snowed in indefinitely in the mountains, and are unable to continue their journey for the time being.

≈ MID-MARCH 2014
≈ LATE MARCH 2014
≈ APRIL 2014
≈ MAY 2014
≈ JULY 2014
≈ EARLY AUGUST 2014
≈ DECEMBER 2014
- Ivoryleaf vanishes after leaving WindClan territory in the hopes of procuring fresh prey that would help the Clan survive the winter, as they are in deep trouble after the fire drove most of the prey away. Sparrowstar refuses to appoint a new deputy, much to the dissatisfaction of several Clan members, and despite several seemingly obvious choices.
≈ FEBRUARY 2014
- The RiverClan patrol continues their journey once snows abate, though their progress is slowed significantly by Silvercloud, who is suffering from repeated bouts of pneumonia due to the difficult mountain journey.
≈ MID-MARCH 2014
- Cedarstar is captured by humans while going on a simple excursion to meet up with a hunting patrol that had left around a half-hour earlier. As best as the Clan can tell, he was diverted by the scent of humans and subsequently trapped; the remains of the trap, as well as the scent of both Cedarstar and humans, are found at the edge of ThunderClan territory. Rainbird immediately steps up to take Cedarstar's place as Rainstar, appointing Saltgrass as deputy. Even after extensive searching, no sign of the now ex-leader is ever found.
≈ LATE MARCH 2014
- WindClan medicine cat Poisonedthorn retires after increased aggravations and disabilities caused by smoke inhalation and fire burns from the wildfire around a year ago. Sparrowstar appoints Winterhold as the new medicine cat, and remains frustratingly silent on the matter of deputy - though it is becoming increasingly clear that Ivoryleaf will not return.
≈ APRIL 2014
- The RiverClan patrol finally arrives in Oceanside, malnourished, weak, and injured. They take several months to recover, followed by an impossible amount of time waiting around for answers.
≈ MAY 2014
- A replanting of the moor, funded by the City government and nature organizations, begins as a yearlong project. WindClan cats are disgruntled and baffled to find a multitude of humans swarming their territory, forcing them to stay in the tunnels or leave the territory completely until the humans disappear.
≈ JULY 2014
- Hollowstar leaves ShadowClan to search for a cure as the virus continues to claim members of her Clan - the death count now 20+ and counting. Icepath vanishes less than a week after. Ivyfrost replaces Icepath as deputy but the leader position remains open.
≈ EARLY AUGUST 2014
- ShadowClan receives a message through a dying elder, Dawnsky, that reveals the Virus has ended thanks to Dark Forest and that there will be no more deaths, finally concluding more than three years of suffering. ShadowClan has lost more than half their number. StarClan remains silent. There are no more Virus-caused deaths. (Event 7.4 Lose My Mind)
≈ DECEMBER 2014
- The end of a tumultuous year is welcomed with relief by the Clans. Inter-Clan tensions have all but been forgotten after the combined traumas of the gathering, the virus, the fire, and the prophecy. At the very least, however, the threat from BloodClan seems to have been mostly hot air, though the Clans remain keenly aware of their city-dwelling neighbors.
- In the city, meanwhile, Axel is re-establishing BloodClan's boundaries while trying to keep the peace within the Clan, resorting to a mix of bloody warfare, threats, and fear that seem to be bringing the Clan back to its pre-Piper, bloodthirsty days. (Event 10.0 Night Takes So Long)

≈ NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2015
- Rainstar retires as ThunderClan leader. Saltstar takes her place with Stormfly as deputy. Though only Smokedancer and Saltstar know, Saltstar is only awarded 8/9 lives during his first visit to the Moonstone.
≈ MARCH 2015
- Thunder, River, and WindClan are alerted to the end of the ShadowClan virus. All three Clans request several months to confirm this for themselves before lifting the quarantine. ShadowClan are not happy but acquiesce, particularly as they realize that protecting their borders and Clan, given their reduced number of able-bodied warriors, will be difficult enough already.
≈ MAY 2015
- The RiverClan patrol meet Fuze, an Oceanside rogue, who helps them realize Seal Cove is the place the prophecy is talking about. They move to Seal Cove, but are forced to leave a sick and unresponsive Silverleaf at a vet’s office; her fate remains unknown. (Event 8.2 Is This All There Is)
≈ MAY 31st 2015
- The RiverClan patrol, their remaining ThunderClan prisoner Cranepaw, and the rest of RiverClan meet in a dream after two years apart. Emotions run high. Three Dark Forest representatives appear, revealing that StarClan and Dark Forest cats alike are vanishing without explanation; and that Dark Forest, in their slightly miscalculated attempts to convey this danger to RiverClan, ended up causing RiverClan's nightmares instead, but were also responsible for the prophecy. They ask the Clan for an alliance to help try and prevent or reverse the disappearances. RiverClan, after deliberation, finally agree. (Event 8.3 We Stumble Into Faith)
≈ EARLY JUNE 2015
- The ShadowClan quarantine is lifted. In quiet election, Whitestar emerges as the new leader of ShadowClan with Ivyfrost as his deputy. In ThunderClan, Saltstar sets into motion his plans to militarize the Clan, ostensibly for defense. The move sits well with some and less well with others, but few complaints are raised; no one can argue against wanting to have a decent defense, after everything that has occurred.
≈ MID JUNE 2015
- Their mission complete, the RiverClan patrol - eager to get back to the forest - departs Oceanside as soon as possible. At the advice of one of their Oceanside friends, they smuggle away on a train, which takes them halfway across the mountains before they are forced to disembark due to an unexpected change in the train's direction. They are forced to travel the rest of the way on foot, although their journey time has been significantly reduced.
≈ EARLY AUGUST 2016
- Winterhold chooses to join a passing group of rogues as their medicine cat, for reasons shared only with Sparrowstar.
≈ AUGUST 18th 2016
- Sparrowstar finally appoints a highly controversial choice, the warrior and warrior code breaker Fallenflight, as her deputy. Less controversially, she also appoints Daybreeze as the new medicine cat.
≈ OCTOBER 2nd 2015
- The first Gathering since ShadowClan's quarantine was lifted is held. Saltstar indirectly accuses Heatherstar of the ThunderClan kidnapping, which she refuses to acknowledge, while Sparrowstar's choices send shockwaves through the Clan. The Gathering devolves into chaos at the appearance of the blood moon, with many suspicious that Fallenflight's deputy appointment is the cause. (Event 12.0 One Night on a Blood Moon)
≈ MID-NOVEMBER 2015
- Saltstar receives his missing final life, having successfully kept the missing life a secret from all except Smokedancer.
≈ NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2015
- Post-Gathering, inter-Clan tensions are back on the rise, with some cats wondering if Saltstar is right after all to start preparing his Clan for seeming battle. Many admit, however, that much of the tension is coming from Saltstar's actions in the first place, as the other Clans regard the increased training and obvious militarization as a not-so-subtle threat to their own well-being.
2016

≈ EARLY MARCH 2016
≈ MID MAY 2016
≈ SUMMER MONTHS (June, July, August) 2016
≈ JULY 2016
≈ MID SEPTEMBER 2016
≈ EARLY DECEMBER 2016
- The RiverClan patrol, after a series of unfortunate misadventures (though none too horrible), finally arrive back home. Cranepaw is returned without explanation to ThunderClan, and stays good on her word to not mention the kidnapping by RiverClan in any capacity. The patrol, and Cranepaw, begin the long and difficult process to readjust to Clan life.
≈ EARLY MARCH 2016
- Ivyfrost resigns from the deputy position after a private meeting with Whitestar; she leaves ShadowClan shortly thereafter for reasons unknown. Longtail is appointed as her successor.
≈ MID MAY 2016
- Daybreeze is captured by two-legs while out gathering herbs, a worrying repeat of Cedarstar's disappearance. In what is fast becoming a trend, Sparrowstar does not immediately appoint another medicine cat, a move viewed unfavorably by her own Clan in light of ThunderClan's increased fighting presence.
≈ SUMMER MONTHS (June, July, August) 2016
- Extremely humid and dangerously hot weather forces all the Clans to lie low during the summer months, focusing their energies instead on preventing overheating and staying hydrated. Tension in the forest drops to a constant but easily ignored simmer in the background, and many agree that the months of peace (despite the heat) are a welcome reprieve.
≈ JULY 2016
- Sparrowstar has dedicated her time and energy to bringing WindClan back to full health, and the pay-off to all her hard work is finally in sight. Recovery of the WindClan territory post-burn is around 70% complete, with prey and larger shrubs beginning to return, while recovery of the WindClan camp is around 20% complete with cleaning and repairs planned in the coming months. Expected return to the camp is projected to be early Spring by optimists, early Summer by pessimists, but certainly within the next year.
≈ MID SEPTEMBER 2016
- Unbeknownst to his Clan, Whitestar begins to display symptoms worryingly like the virus; rather than run the risk of reinfection, he, like others before him, departs ShadowClan in the middle of the night. A patrol tracks him out to Highstones the very next day, where they find a great deal of blood and the scent of fox. Though they are unable to find a body, they assume the worst. Longtail is appointed leader, and she selects Brackenshade as her deputy.
≈ EARLY DECEMBER 2016
- Sparrowstar selects Loonberry as the new WindClan medicine cat, a move which is - surprisingly - not only supported, but also widely liked. The choice redeems her somewhat in the eyes of her Clan.

- Suggested by himself and approved by Axel, Dread departs BloodClan territory, purportedly to canvas the city for possible territorial expansions. Official word is that the trip will take around a week, but Dread fails to return. In the following months, Axel refuses to appoint a new deputy.
≈ JULY 2017
- Some local, careful rogues begin to try their luck at the BloodClan borders, driven by anger after the way BloodClan has treated them. Though Axel and his patrols kill all those they can catch, they cannot catch everyone, and the beleaguering only intensifies in the coming months. Some BloodClanners are even beginning to see a clear strategy in the rogues' forays, and though none will ever admit it to Axel, most cannot help but find a connection between Dread's disappearance and the rogues' sudden organization.
≈ AUGUST 1st 2017
- WindClan moves out of the tunnels and returns to their camp, which is now 85% complete and fully habitable. Duskfeather replaces Loonberry as medicine cat - another popular, if somewhat inexperienced, choice.
≈ AUGUST 28th 2017
- Stormfly resigns as deputy of ThunderClan and is ordered to depart from the Clan, becoming a rogue. Dewfrost is appointed the new deputy.
≈ LATE OCTOBER 2017
- Except for a few final details, the WindClan camp is fully repaired and ready for the approaching winter.
≈ NOVEMBER 1st 2017
- Dave's Doggie Daycare opens at the edge of the inner city, in the odd zone between modernization and the old industrial district, and coincidentally right outside the BloodClan border. Though many believe that he won't succeed, because the daycare is in such an out-of-the-way place, Dave remains relentless and gradually begins to build a client base and comfortable routine - even if he is a little unnerved by all the unexpected cats that he finds loitering in the area.
- As the eleventh month of Dread's disappearance begins, the sense of unease and desperation in BloodClan begins to grow as Axel becomes increasingly unpredictable and frightening, and Tinsel can no longer control him as well as she used to. The rogues increase their haranguing of the border as winter approaches.
≈ DECMBER 1st 2017
- A new rogue group led by Celcius and Viridian, and formed from a mix of locals and newcomers, take up residence in Union Station. Motivated by a personal grudge against BloodClan – Viridian’s former mate was killed in the 2012 fight – they set their sights on the Factory, eventually coming up with a plan to permanently destroy the BloodClan threat and take the Factory for themselves.

- The new rogue group puts their plan to eradicate BloodClan into motion. Two rogue group members release 12 dogs from Dave's Doggie Daycare and lead the pack towards the BloodClan camp, where they are intercepted in Triptych Alley by the Clan. A fight ensues between the pack and BloodClan, and though the dogs are eventually driven away, the casualties and injuries sustained by BloodClan are severe. Meanwhile, the rogue group uses the distraction of the fight to move into the Factory without fuss. (Event 10.1 The Wind Begins to Howl)
JANUARY 2nd, 2018
- BloodClan mourn and bury their dead, while those injured from the fight with the dogs are treated. Axel declares his intention to attack the rogues in the factory, and selects the patrol to do so from the remaining, relatively healthy warriors. (Thread: Aftershock) The rogue group focuses on bolstering their defenses and beginning to plan another attack.
JANUARY 4th, 2018
- Led by Axel, the BloodClan patrol attacks the factory around 1:00 AM. Having expected the attack to come later in the week, the rogues are taken by surprise. (Event 10.2 Never Break the Chain)
≈ MID JANUARY 2018
- Heatherstar of RiverClan catches red-cough, causing her to lose her 4th life, witnessed by medicine cat apprentice Cosmospaw and deputy Sootfur. Though she does not lose another life to the illness, she remains weak and recovering for the better part of the next few moons, causing Sootfur to assume many of her roles temporarily.
≈ EARLY FEBRUARY 2018
- Following Heatherstar's illness, an outbreak of white-cough spreads through RiverClan, with instances of red-cough and black-cough both appearing in a few severe cases. As it continues to worsen, a suspicious shortage of catmint alerts Natureheart, Cosmospaw, and Sootfur to suspect foul play. Shortly afterwards, Sootfur calls a Clan meeting informing them of their current situation, including the need to ask for catmint from a neighboring Clan. Though his orders are accepted, he is met with resistance and obvious displeasure from those in the Clan who believe the high-ranks should have informed them of the herb shortage sooner - particularly given everything that has happened in the forest, and what they have learned about StarClan. (The Cough in the Clan)
- RiverClan resources are stretched thin as healthy warriors are forced to pick up the slack of those who are sick. A patrol visits WindClan, asking for extra herbs.
MARCH 29th 2018
- Saltstar calls a ThunderClan meeting that includes multiple apprentice-to-warrior and kit-to-apprentice ceremonies. He introduces a new tradition of marking the foreheads of new warriors with a mix of gooseberry, blood, and death berry, an act of symbolism that sits well with some and less well with others. Further improvements to ThunderClan's intense military-oriented training program are also announced. (Those Who Favor Fire)
≈ EARLY APRIL 2018
- RiverClan recovers from their illness.
AUGUST 29th 2018
- Sparrowstar passes away, peacefully, in WindClan. Fallenflight, now Fallenstar, replaces her as leader, and selects Sundapple as his deputy. The news of her passing spreads quickly through the forest and the territories beyond, and reactions range from worry to fear to anticipation as the power vacuum she left behind sits waiting for its successor.
SEPTEMBER 18th 2018
- Eleven days before the Gathering, Dewfrost flees the Clan, unable to handle the ever-increasing pressure of being Saltstar's deputy. She is replaced by Firesoul, a tom whose aloof and independent attitude seems reflective of a shift in ThunderClan ideology.
SEPTEMBER 28th 2018
- After a fight with Saltstar over the involvement of apprentices in his (often dangerous) training programs, Smokedancer departs ThunderClan in the night. Saltstar, furious and unwilling to lose face at the Gathering, asks Roanfur to come out of retirement to replace her - at least temporarily. He spreads the official story that Smokedancer has gone on a long solo mission to discover and collect new herbs and treatments, and even amongst ThunderClan only a select few know the truth.
SEPTEMBER 29th, 2018
- The forest Clans hold another Gathering, with Sootfur representing RiverClan in the absence of a still-sick Heatherstar. During the meeting, Saltstar is openly aggressive towards the other Clans, declaring his intention to take Sunningrocks from RiverClan, albeit – for now - peacefully. Sootfur shuts down the idea, but Saltstar is clearly undeterred, even as Longstar and Fallenstar make their announcements.
- Umberpaw of RiverClan reveals that StarClan is disappearing, forcing Sootfur to reveal the knowledge that RiverClan has been keeping secret. The Clans go into an uproar, with ThunderClan and WindClan reacting in disbelief and shock, while ShadowClan stay quiet about their own information. Saltstar accuses RiverClan of committing heresy and ends the Gathering immediately, without consulting the other leaders. (Event 12.0 To Hear the Noise of Thunder)

WINTER 2020
- Cats living in the city begin to notice a profound lack of human activity. By late March, BloodClan patrols have confirmed that most humans are staying indoors. Profoundly disturbed, they ask around to find out what’s happening and discover that the humans are being affected by some kind of fatal disease (Covid-19).
APRIL 25th, 2020
- After her long convalescence, Heatherstar of RiverClan wanders away from the Clan and onto the Thunderpath, where she is hit by a car and taken away by humans. Skypaw, an apprentice, brings the news back to the Clan; a patrol is dispatched immediately, but no sign of Heatherstar is found. (The Falling of a Star)
- For the next few days, RiverClan waits for a sign from StarClan or the return of Heatherstar, neither of which occur.
APRIL 27th, 2020
- Sootfur travels to the Moonstone to try and communicate directly with StarClan. To his great shock and sadness, he sees Heatherstar in his dreams, confirming her death. She grants him his first life as the new leader of RiverClan, and StarClan leaves the newly named Sootstar with one request: to save them before it is too late. (Stardust)
APRIL 28th, 2020
- Sootstar returns to RiverClan in the early morning and announces Heatherstar’s death and his new role as leader. He immediately appoints Tidebreak as his deputy and promises to guide RiverClan onto a new path, one with no more nightmares or lies, driven by the goal to work together with the other Clans to save their warrior ancestors. (River Through the Sky)
MAY 2020
- The forest Clans begin to wonder about the absence of humans, since there seem to be a lot fewer than normal – even on the Thunderpath – although the weather has gotten warmer. They are not concerned, however, and for the moment chalk it up to good luck.
JULY 2020
- With summer in full swing, the forest Clans begin to get more concerned by the strange human absence. Each Clan asks around the loner and rogue community, and although nobody gets a completely clear answer, by the start of August, all the Clans are aware that the humans are sick. Remembering the virus, the Clans proceed with extra caution for the next few weeks, but ultimately let their guard down when they remain unaffected.
SEPTEMBER 5th 2020
- Saltstar announces his full plan to ThunderClan. He announces his intention to take Sunningrocks by force, if necessary, and he explains the reasons behind the extra training and militarization: to give ThunderClan the tools to protect themselves from any threat, no matter what. He announces members for his Advisor Circle and appoints Burningshade as the new medicine cat, since Roanfur has retired (again). (I Must Spell Out the Storm)
OCTOBER 26th 2020
- Cosmospaw is promoted to RiverClan medicine cat and receives his full name, Cosmos-streak.
WINTER 2020
- A very cold but very quiet winter follows. The Clans lay low.

LATE AUGUST TO MID-NOVEMBER 2021
WINTER 2021
- Saltstar announces his plans to take Sunningrocks by force once there is no longer ice in the river and before the spring floods hit. ThunderClan begin their preparations, but they are faced to wait longer than expected, because the river thaws late.
LATE MARCH 2021
- The river has finally thawed, but the lateness causes it to coincide with the spring flood, forcing ThunderClan to delay their plans even further.
- City inhabitants begin to notice more humans out and about. Word on the street is that the humans are beginning to come back – not all of them, but enough to start paying being careful again. The forest Clans are not aware of this development.
FIRST WEEK OF MAY, 2021
- A group of humans (field biologists conducting research on birds and beetles in the wildlife and wetlands preserve) arrive unexpectedly in the forest, catching the forest Clans off guard. The humans stay in the meeting house for a week before departing. During their visit, they travel all over the territories – thankfully not discovering any camps – and put little black boxes and colored flags all over the forest, their purpose a complete mystery to the Clans.
- The Clans stay out of their way. ThunderClan’s Sunningrocks takeover is delayed again.
LATE MAY TO EARLY JUNE, 2021
- After several weeks, no humans have returned, so the bravest in the Clans venture out to check the objects they left behind. They seem harmless and fun to bat around, and the Clans mostly lose their fear, especially after the lack of humans over the past year.
LAST WEEK OF JUNE, 2021
- The field biologists return. Much to their shock, they discover many cameras missing, and all the ones that remain are full of cat footage. Even more shocking, the cats seem extremely organized. Since cats on a wildlife and wetlands preserve is bad news, the biologists are very concerned.
JULY 5th 2021
- One of the biologists sends the footage to the Stray Cat Society (SCS) and asks if there’s anything that can be done. The SCS is appropriately concerned and sends an investigation team to the forest.
JULY 11th to 13th 2021
- The SCS investigative team stays in the meeting house. They find lots of cat markings, but no sign of the cats themselves. The Clans, feeling the stress of all the human activity, spend most of their time hiding around or near their camps. Saltstar postpones the Sunningrocks takeover indefinitely.
JULY 18th to 20th 2021
- The SCS returns, this time camping where they’re most likely to spot cats: near the river, the biggest fresh water source around. Having noticed the scent marks, they set up next to the ThunderClan border. Over the course of the next three days, a nightmare scenario unfolds for TC: humans traversing all over their territory, forcing the Clan to stay perpetually hidden in their camp. On the final day two humans come dangerously close to the ravine, and Saltstar is forced to send out warriors to scare them away. Much to the relief of the Clan, it works, their militarization and training paying off.
- The cat-bitten and cat-scratched SCS members return to their camp. After a frantic trip to the hospital for rabies shots, they grimly confirm to the society what the biologists suspected: there is a HUGE cat problem in the preserve that must be addressed at once.
AUGUST 22nd 2021
- After spending several weeks coming up with a 2-year plan, volunteers, and funding, the SCS and the Bird Conservation Association arrive in the forest with a very simple plan: a capture/relocation program. Setting up a camp by the river and their headquarters in the meeting house, they launch the initiative immediately.
LATE AUGUST TO MID-NOVEMBER 2021
- The program is devastatingly effective. Clan cats – and even some unlucky loners and rogues who stumble into the traps set outside the territories – are captured and taken away, at least a few a week. Though the Clans adapt quickly, the humans are also doing daily surveys through the territories, making it impossible to predict when or where they will appear.
- The SCS finally stop as the weather turns colder, with plans to resume in the spring.
WINTER 2021
- Although the winter is a mild one, the Clans – who were unable to prepare during the fall, and cannot catch up due to their reduced numbers – struggle to make it through.
2022
EARLY APRIL 2022
JULY TO MID-SEPTEMBER 2022
MID-SEPTEMBER TO OCTOBER 30 2022
NOVEMBER 13th 2022
- Worried about the spring migrations and the bird mating season, the SCS resume their efforts in mid-April. They continue to focus on the forest, but spread out across the entire preserve.
JULY TO MID-SEPTEMBER 2022
- The SCS take a break for the summer. The Clans, terrorized as they are, barely feel the respite.
MID-SEPTEMBER TO OCTOBER 30 2022
- The SCS resume their program, ending – as they did last year – with the onset of the cold front. They congratulate one another on completing Year One of the 2-year relocation plan.
NOVEMBER 13th 2022
- Longstar decides that she will retire from leadership in the new year. She informs Brackenshade and Wintersky about her plans.
2023
MARCH 31st 2023
APRIL 3rd 2023
- Longstar retires. Brackenshade takes her place as the leader of ShadowClan, but is unable to appoint a new deputy before the arrival of the Stray Cat Society.
APRIL 3rd 2023
- The SCS returns to the forest, beginning the second year of their two-year plan.
